The Internet can be wonderful for kids.

They can use it to research school reports, communicate with teachers and other kids, and play interactive games. But as parents of today’s kids ourselves, we realized that we’ve been overlooking something. The web can also be dangerous, posing substantial risks to children - mentally, physically and financially. It can also be a source of influence, leading kids along different paths, good and bad. More children are online now than ever. This trend has been sudden and rapid, leaving both parents and children unprepared for the consequences.

What are your core beliefs? What is your goal for your children? How will you work to reach your goal? Every parent will answer these questions differently. For us, all of these answers start with passion, purpose, and plan - that’s where all parenting decisions come from. Every parent hopes to have kids who successfully fulfil their purpose in life, but "hope" is not a strategy.

We created Parentry to equip parents with the know-how to help make the web a safer and more useful place for our children. Parentry focuses on parental issues about web and device usage by children, educating parents, narrowing the technology gaps between generations and helping parents bond better with their kids. Parenting should be a joyous activity for parents, just as childhood should be a special time for children, and we’re here to make it better for everyone.
